Coming from a creative household and a design background, I have always aspired to create interesting forms in everything I design -from jewelry and metalsmithing to communication design.  When it comes to jewelry I focus primarily on making forms that fit naturally and comfortably with the body: oftentimes they are not particularly feminine or masculine -just anthropomorphic.  Additionally I strive to push the boundaries of materials and how they can be used; as most clearly demonstrated in my series of rope and knot pieces.  In graphic design I bring the same foundation to the table and I strive to make all my work with a sense of dynamism and communicative clarity.  I acknowledge the fact that everything in the world is designed, but not always well designed, and I continue to observe everything as I eat, breathe, and sleep design.

Cameron Ledy is a college student from New York City.  She attends Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York where she studies jewelry design, metalsmithing, communication design, and typography.  Cameron is also an avid baker, specializing in cupcakes.  She hopes to one day marry her love of typefaces and baking by opening a typographic cake shop called “Helveticake.”
